Rex Smith

Rex has visited a few times now, he has skied at least 80 days at Red. Rex loves motorsports and is comfortable at speed. He is not as competent at skiing and the photo shows that speed is not always his friend.

Rex is also the only person i know that has twice been hypothermic, and twice broken his neck. And to wear a full neck brace while scuba diving.

Returning from Ripple Ridge at Kootenay Pass. 

Completely untracked snow stash above here was worth it. if you get into an untracked section weeks after snow, it is because it is in, or unavoidably heading for, a very 'technical' zone such as a cliff, endless 7yo unthinned plantings, or a sea of deadfall. Red doesn't do closed areas or cliff signs, it does do awesome trees.
